January 1, Teen Arrested After Charlie Kirk Memorial Attack
Wyatt’s Take
- A 19-year-old disrupted a memorial for Charlie Kirk in Arizona.
- He was stopped by a bystander and arrested by police.
- The left continues to target Kirk’s memory and silence calls for unity.
A young man was taken into custody on Sunday after damaging a Charlie Kirk memorial outside Turning Point USA’s headquarters in Phoenix. Reports say he kicked over flowers on display before being stopped by a witness and law enforcement.
Supporters gathered at vigils to honor Kirk, with even sports teams joining in with moments of silence. Yet, some critics refuse to move on, using hateful language to smear Kirk even after his passing.
In California, Democrats refused to join a memorial vigil, calling Kirk a “fascist.” That same slur was found on a bullet casing left by the man accused of killing Kirk in Utah, where he was murdered in front of thousands of students.
While a few on the left called for unity after the attack, others repeated lies about Kirk, and some tried to blame him for his own murder because he spoke his mind.
