January 1, Teacher Fired After Racial Comments Go Viral
A Texas middle school teacher has been fired after a video of an “inappropriate conversation” gained viral attention on social media.
In the video, the unidentified teacher is talking with some students inside a classroom at Bohls Middle School in Pflugerville.
“Deep down in my heart, I’m ethnocentric, which means I think my race is the superior one,” the teacher says in the video.
Several parents told local ABC affiliate KVUE that the situation is disheartening.
“I think the most disturbing piece is that it was a situation where kids had experienced this real-time,” said Dr. Shante Lyons, a parent of a student in the district.
“There are other personal experiences we’ve had as people of color that we had individually, but to see this in the classroom setting is just not acceptable,” said parent Brian Hennington.
Pflugerville Independent School District (ISD) Superintendent Dr. Douglas Killian released a statement confirming that the teacher was no longer employed.
On Friday, Nov. 11, District officials “were made aware of an inappropriate conversation a teacher at Bohls Middle School had with students during an advisory class.”
As of the following Monday morning, “the teacher in question is no longer employed by Pflugerville ISD and we are actively looking for a replacement.”
“We want to reiterate that this conversation does not align with our core beliefs and is not a reflection of our district or our culture at Bohls Middle School. Pflugerville ISD and Bohls MS staff work together to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all of our students. The advisory discussion was inappropriate, inaccurate, and unacceptable; and this type of interaction will not be tolerated in any PfISD schools,” the statement read.
Killian noted that the video “prompted local and national media attention.” The superintendent apologized to “any parents whose students have been included in the video without their knowledge.”
“We apologize to our students and families at Bohls Middle School for the undue stress or concern this has caused,” the statement continued. “We always do our best to ensure the safety of all students; we encourage them to be self-advocates and let an adult know when something is wrong, as they did in this situation. If you see something, say something.”

Huh, maybe it was a radical approach to critical race theory!
Fire the teacher because he’s white!
……or maybe, we should all be more concerned education seems so focused on race and sexual preference rather than an actual productive education.
That’s reading, writing, arithmetic, and maybe “real” history with a focus on civics and patriotism.

Real history includes “Racism.” This ignorant ex-teacher needs to be educated about that! Racism in the history books, have been
practically deleted. The term Slaves are now being stated as being similar to family members. White people don’t want their kids to be properly educated about the racism and inequalities Black people had to face, once they were captured and forced to America. Please, have an open mind, and read the online article, “10 reasons why White people, don’t want to talk about racism.”

SUPERIOR ARE THOSE THAT HAVE AN EDUCATION THAT LETS THEM TEACH…….THE ONES THAT ONLY ATTEND SCHOOL 2 OR 3 DAYS A WEEK AND RECEIVE “D’s” ARE THE ONES THAT DO NOT HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF THIS PLANET NOR ANY FACTS NECESSARY TO BE OF VALUE…….THEY ARE NOT SUPERIOR NOR POSSESS ANY FACTS……

The teacher sound a lot like Hitler and his “superior race” garbage. The only thing that makes anyone better than others is character and NOT race. There are those of all races who work hard and make something of themselves as well as those of all races who do not and just continually cause problems with their failures. There are also those who truly have mental handicaps who cannot push themselves to be better.

Maybe read the bell curve before you comment on race vs intelligence – does being predispositioned to have one race more intelligent on average than other races make them better? Not necessarily.
BTW, I am not just talking about white vs black – Asians tend to be more intelligent than whites on average 110 vs 100 IQ. Biology comes with many traits besides just skin color, so you cannot truthfully say that all races are the same.
