“We’re going to be signing an executive order,” Trump said.

“It’s, I believe it’s foolproof… I think it’s very obvious what’s said.”

The order creates State Citizenship Lists to identify people who are confirmed United States citizens.

These lists will be updated and sent to states before federal elections to help keep voter rolls accurate.

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said the new system will tie every ballot to a trackable envelope.

That approach is designed to make every vote easier to account for and verify.

“The cheating on mail-in voting is legendary,” Trump said.

“It’s horrible what’s going on.”

The President also emphasized that he is still pushing for mandatory voter ID and proof of citizenship at the polls.

He said the only people who oppose those rules are the ones who want to cheat.

“The only people that don’t want to do voter ID are people that cheat,” Trump said.

Liberal election officials in states like Oregon and Arizona are already threatening to sue to stop these protections.

Trump warned that while rogue judges might try to interfere, the law is on the side of election integrity.

“If you don’t have honest voting,” he said, “you can’t have really a nation.”
