Senator Calls for Biden’s Resignation

Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) called for President Joe Biden’s resignation in a new television ad, saying that his presidency has wreaked havoc on the U.S. economy.

“Joe Biden has destroyed America’s economy,” Scott says in the ad. “It’s time to be honest with the American people. Joe Biden is unfit for office and should resign.”

In a previous ad, Scott called Biden “incompetent and confused.” The latest installment includes a video clip of Biden referring to Scott as being from Wisconsin.

The new ad promotes the former Florida governor’s “Rescue America” initiative — a 12-point plan for how Republicans can “save this country” if they regain the majority after the midterm elections.

Biden has previously denounced Scott’s “ultra-MAGA agenda,” saying “it’s extreme, as most MAGA things are.”

The ad is reportedly set to air on cable channels nationwide.
