January 1, Senator Alleges Widespread FBI Effort to Downplay Negative Information About Hunter Biden

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) claims that “highly credible” whistleblowers have informed him of a widespread effort within the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to downplay or discredit “derogatory information” about President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden.
Grassley outlined his concerns in a July 25 letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland.
“The information provided to my office involves concerns about the FBI’s receipt and use of derogatory information relating to Hunter Biden, and the FBI’s false portrayal of acquired evidence as disinformation,” Grassley wrote. “The volume and consistency of these allegations substantiate their credibility and necessitate this letter.”
Grassley, the ranking member on the Senate Judiciary Committee, said that the whistleblowers claimed that the agency dismissed legitimate intelligence about Hunter Biden as “disinformation.”
The Iowa senator stressed that if the whistleblowers’ claims were true, then the agencies are “institutionally corrupted to their very core.”
“You have an obligation to the country to take these allegations seriously, immediately investigate and take steps to institute fixes to these and other matters before you,” Grassley wrote.
The whistleblowers claimed that in 2020, “the FBI developed information about Hunter Biden’s criminal financial and related activity,” Grassley wrote.
“Based on allegations, verified and verifiable derogatory information on Hunter Biden was falsely labeled as disinformation,” he continued.
Grassley added that such action continued until at least October 2020, shortly before the presidential election. The information was dismissed as disinformation even though it was “either verified or verifiable via criminal search warrants.”
The assistant special agent in charge then “allegedly ordered the matter closed without providing a valid reason” — and then “attempted to improperly mark the matter in FBI systems so that it could not be opened in the future,” Grassley wrote.
“If these allegations are true and accurate, the Justice Department and FBI are – and have been – institutionally corrupted to their very core to the point in which the United States Congress and the American people will have no confidence in the equal application of the law.”
“Attorney General Garland and Director Wray, simply put, based on the allegations that I’ve received from numerous whistleblowers, you have systemic and existential problems within your agencies,” Grassley concluded.
The senator demanded an investigation and release of any documents on the dismissed probes into Hunter Biden.

Hopefully the republicans will take the house and senate in the midterms and will then stand up and do what’s right. There is much wrong that has been done or is being done and needs to stop and those responsible should all be prosecuted fully.

We need stronger leadership in the Republican party before we can have the changes needed to stop the corruption and stop the lawless swamp people in our government. Congress wants to make deals with the devil to get them power and money and they don’t care about the American people or our country. This must stop for all of us to survive and prosper.

There are no checks and balances any more in the federal government. The Executive branch which is supposed to enforce have become the rule-makers as well. Our judicial branch has gone political activist for the last century, even with a few good decisions handed down. And Congress has become a uni-party with only a very few patriot hold-outs. However, all anyone in Congress can do is write “strongly worded letters” and make “recommendations” pleading with the Executive branch to freaking do something, which everyone knows are completely ignored. It’s no different than good cops making a good arrest and the DA refusing to prosecute. It could be reasonably argued that most, and by that I mean something in the 90% range, of the agencies of the federal government are unconstitutional and their authority handed back to the states.

Instead of working for his constituents and most American citizens, he is wasting his time trolling an ongoing FBI investigation. He has no pertinent abilities or information to share with DOJ and he is not a member of the DOJ. He is grandstanding simply because he can. Instead of focusing on democracy issues (re: facts flowing steadily from Jan6 committee) pointing directly at Trump, his administration, and many GOP lawmakers as being involved in or actively supporting a criminal attempt to overthrow the federal government and supporting na criminal insurrection as part of that attempt- OH NO! – we must attack Hunter Biden ( who is not going anywhere) RIGHT NOW! What is more important : (1) getting to the bottom of Jan6 and ALL of its potential criminals and strengthening our democracy? -OR – (2) chasing down and prosecuting HUnter Biden for miscellaneous reported crimes?
DUH – even someone as dense as Chuck Brassley should be able to correctly prioritize the correct effort direction….

There is no QUESTION that the FBI–and indeed, the ENTIRE Department of “Justice”–is “institutionally corrupted to their very core.” Thanks to corrupt appointments by that America-hating sociopath, Obama, the FBI has become nothing more than the GESTAPO of the Demmunist Party, and the DOJ, under the “leadership” of that beady-eyed Demmunist Weasel Merrick Garland seems to have NO interest in justice, except PERSECUTING and JAILING anybody that doesn’t agree with the corrupt, conniving Demmunists and their America-hating Party. The whole DOJ is SO corrupt that I don’t think it can be fixed. It needs to be disbanded and a new DOJ and DOJ crime-fighting organization created, and NO Obama appointee should be eligible for re-hire.
