  • FBI memos show whistleblower told agents that Schiff greenlit leaks to tarnish Trump.
  • Justice Department refused to pursue the claims, citing congressional privilege.
  • Whistleblower claims he lost his job over refusing to go along with party-driven leaks.

Classified FBI documents now in the hands of Congress reveal a Democrat intelligence staffer warned authorities that Adam Schiff gave the go-ahead to leak secrets against then-President Trump, aiming to damage him during the Russiagate saga.

The staffer, who described himself as loyal to both parties, reported these leaks to the FBI as early as 2017 and called them “unethical,” “illegal,” and “treasonous.”

“When working in this capacity, [redacted staffer’s name] was called to an all-staff meeting by SCHIFF,” one FBI report reads. “In this meeting, SCHIFF stated the group would leak classified information which was derogatory to President of the United States DONALD J. TRUMP.”

Investigators were told by the whistleblower that concerns about breaking laws were brushed aside and that fellow staffers reassured him they would not get caught.

He was reportedly let go by committee staff who doubted his loyalty after raising the alarm about leaks.

The Department of Justice refused to act, using the same constitutional protection Schiff counted on, while some officials who declined prosecution still work in high places.

Recently, more questions have come up about Schiff amid other legal referrals, but punishment for the old leaks is mostly blocked by statutes of limitations.

Patel, who provided the documents to Congress, said, “For years, certain officials used their positions to selectively leak classified information to shape political narratives … It was all done with one purpose: to weaponize intelligence and law enforcement for political gain.”

The records indicate that the whistleblower warned the FBI multiple times over the years. He even suggested other Democrats, including Eric Swalwell, were involved in leaking classified information, and that Trump’s national security adviser Mike Flynn was a specific target.

The whistleblower also said Schiff allegedly promised him a CIA role if Hillary Clinton had won the 2016 presidential race.

Schiff’s office has not commented on these recent revelations.

The released memos, mainly FBI 302 interview reports, show the agent’s summary of the interviews without the witness usually reviewing for accuracy.
