Russian drones and missiles hit Kyiv and Kharkiv as new peace talks started in Abu Dhabi. At least one person was killed and many were hurt in these nighttime strikes.

U.S. officials Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner met with Russian President Vladimir Putin right before the talks began. The meetings are the first time U.S. leaders have joined this push for a political fix.
