January 1, Report: State Under Fire for Letting Violent Offenders Walk on Low Bail

Published

on

ICE officers in Boston say illegal immigrants are getting out of jail with super low bail, even when they’re charged with really bad crimes like hurting kids. This isn’t just talk; CBS Boston checked it out and found it’s true.

Here’s what they found: Some illegal immigrants charged with awful things like child rape are getting out of jail without having to pay much. For example, a man from Guatemala was charged with serious child crimes and got out on just $7,500 bail. Others, like a man from Honduras, got out without paying a dime, even after being charged with assault and robbery.

Tom Homan, a tough guy on border security, didn’t like what he heard about Boston. He even told the police commissioner there that he should rethink his job if he isn’t going to help ICE keep these criminals off the streets.

Here’s the tricky part: A Massachusetts law says you can’t hold illegal immigrants just because of their immigration status once they make bail. A court decision in 2017 backed this up, saying state officers can’t keep someone just because ICE asked them to, once bail is posted.

This situation is raising a lot of eyebrows, especially among folks who think the law should do more to protect us from illegal immigrants who commit crimes. It’s clear we need to stand strong on securing our communities and working with ICE to keep everyone safe.

Wyatt Matters!

In our community, we’re seeing more cases where illegal immigrants charged with serious crimes are quickly released on low bail. This situation makes many people worry about safety. For example, some individuals, like those accused of child-related crimes, are released from jail after paying very little. This isn’t just a story; it’s happening right in Boston, as confirmed by recent news investigations. It’s important for us to think about how these actions might affect the safety of everyone in our neighborhoods.

The challenge is that a law in Massachusetts stops officers from holding illegal immigrants based on their status alone once they’ve made bail. This can seem confusing to many people. In 2017, a court ruling made it clear that state officers can’t keep someone just because ICE wants them to. This creates a tough spot for police officers who want to cooperate with federal authorities to keep all residents safe.

It’s vital for us to feel secure in our own neighborhoods. Working with ICE and having tougher rules can help make this happen. People need to be assured that laws are in place to protect everyone, especially from those who might harm others. To achieve this, it’s necessary to support both local and federal efforts to uphold safety and enforce the rules that keep dangerous individuals from walking free too easily.

The law needs to be changed immediately to secure the law abiding citizens and residents of the community. Someone has to awake up and do something before a real situation occurs.

This is insane! A real situation HAS occurred if a crime has been committed. This must be a Democratic state. How can the police and ICE function to protect people if those people don’t vote to change the laws and their leadership? Wake up Boston! Wake up Massachusetts!

IMO, we’ve already had “reaI situations” and their blood is on the hands of the previous demented president, who seemed to put ILLEGALS before the taxpaying AMERICAN CITIZENS! Do the names of Laken Riley and Jocelyn Nungaray, among others mean anything to anybody? IMO, our former President let these folks down, and it makes me wonder if perhaps somebody was benefiting by not protecting AMERICAN CITIZENS, and why was our border completely open to accept the criminals of other countries. Did that president even realize we do have a border??

    Too easy
The problem is the Judiciary setting such low bail. If someone is an Alien, illegal or not, they should be considered a Flight Risk. A Flight Risk should require much higher bail.
    Like I said…..too easy!!!

With all the mis-use of tax dollars that were approved for one thing by Congress then mis-directed to non-approved things yet not one Democrat is on his way to jail. Look at all the Republicans the democrats put in jail. Why are democrats given a free pass for criminal acts they took with American tax dollars? Across our Nation democrats are screaming about the changes being made to stop our Country from going broke, yet we see no remorse for fraud waste and tax payer money abuse. Democrats can not be trusted with the purse strings ,too radical and little regard for their oath of office. Now we have Federal radical judges jumping on that same band wagon who suffer from the very same sickness, total abuse of your tax dollars. Vote these radicals out. Life time appointments are just not another license to steal.

District Judges were never considered to hold equal standing with the Supreme court Justices as any equal Branch of government title that was reserved Supreme court judges, the President, Congress. Now we have junior title wannabes overstepping their authority their position as in the grand scheme of things, non elected political appointed bias robe wearer’s overstating their authority making decisions they are not qualified to make or were never given such power to do so. Congress and it’s authority to oversee these District judges and will officially limit their roles away from all National, International, Overreach of Security matters that has never been any part in their post to begin with. that remains in the exclusive role of the President who has been elected to do so..

When mayors, governors, and other public officials ignore Federal law, why can’t a Federal agency like the FBI get a Federal judge’s warrant, then arrest, and confine the offender so DOJ can try her/him?

The Civil War once and for all established that save where the Constitution specifies otherwise, Federal law is superior to state, county, or municipality law.

    What restrains DOJ now?

It is all part of the plan: bring and keep illegals here to bolster the democrat controlled states census numbers for 2030. They don’t want to lose House Districts and Electoral College votes due to all the people fleeing their corruption ridden states. They were even hoping to gain some if Harris had won. No concern for the children or adults, just power. The illegal “migrants” are also be an easily duped populous that they can use to generate and harvest democrat votes. (Vote early, vote often). If they are unwilling to protect their citizens from heineous criminals, they certainly won’t prosecute individuals and officials involved in helping them get more votes, legal or otherwise.

Frankly, I wonder about many in our judiciary. Note the one who appointed a lot of them, and if you do, you can almost figure out who it was without even looking. BTW, our country didn’t need to be “fundamentally changed,” IMO.

If you vote Demonocrat, you are voting for a slow suicide. They are NOT qualified to run our country, but they DO KNOW how to run it into the ground. They’re in tune with The Pied Piper !
