January 1, Poll: Biden Hits 63% Approval Rating For Pandemic Response

Coming out of his 100 days in office, President Joe Biden receives an overall approval rating of 63%. That’s according to an Associated Press-NORC poll released on Monday. His positive approval rating was pushed by his handling of the pandemic — 71% of Americans approve. The poll also reveals Americans don’t approve of Biden’s handling of gun policy and immigration.

Dr. Anthony Fauci said mask-wearing could be a seasonal habit to fight common illnesses, including the flu, even after the coronavirus pandemic. Fauci noted that the US has “practically a non-existent flu season this year merely because people were doing the kinds of public health things that were directed predominately against COVID-19.” It’s not bad to be cautious, right?

A nurse in Italy had mistakenly given six doses of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine all at once to a 23-year-old woman. A single vial of the Pfizer vaccine contains six doses. When the nurse realized her mistake, she immediately alerted everyone, including the patient who was kept in the hospital for a 24-hour observation.
