“Our habitats are designed with multiple layers of protection, and clear signage and barriers are in place to help ensure safe viewing,” a zoo spokesperson stated.

“Guests are expected to remain within designated areas and closely supervise children at all times.”

This incident follows concerns about child safety at the park after a viral video last year showed a lost boy wandering on a monorail line. The zoo currently houses three gray wolves, and officials maintain that the animal involved was not showing signs of aggression but simply acting on instinct.
