January 1, Netanyahu Hints Hamas Chiefs Survive Airstrike
Wyatt’s Take
- Israel aimed at Hamas leaders in Qatar this week.
- Netanyahu’s comments point to failed attempt.
- War and hostage talks remain stalled.
Israel hit targets in Qatar Tuesday, hoping to take out key Hamas figures. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu now signals that those leaders survived.
He posted, “The Hamas terrorists cheifs [sic] living in Qatar don’t care about the people in Gaza.” Netanyahu blamed these men for refusing peace and dragging out the fight.
He also wrote: “Getting rid of them would rid the main obstacle to releasing all our hostages and ending the war,” showing he sees them as the problem and hinting they’re still out there.
This failed strike means the war will likely drag on with Hamas leaders still calling the shots from far away.
If these leaders remain safe in other countries, finding true peace or bringing loved ones home will stay out of reach for families hoping for an end.
Wyatt Matters
Many in the heartland know what it’s like to wait on distant powers to solve problems that hit close to home. Folks here value action, not talk, and want real solutions, not delays from leaders hiding far from the fight.
