Hundreds gathered outside the Target Center in Minneapolis, calling to stop federal immigration enforcement after a recent march.

People marched from The Commons downtown to the arena, carrying signs and chanting against ICE in freezing temperatures.

The crowd voiced anger after a fatal ICE shooting earlier in January, with organizers urging no work, school, or shopping.

Protesters chanted phrases like “Stand up, fight back” and “ICE out!” while onlookers waved from nearby skywalks.

Footage inside the arena showed demonstrators sitting with signs and warming up from the cold.

A security checkpoint with a metal detector was set up at the entrance.

Minneapolis City Council member Elizabeth Shaffer shared, “Thousands showed up today to peacefully march in downtown Minneapolis and rally at the Target Center to demand: ICE out of Minnesota now!”

Seating inside the arena appeared mostly empty except for a few protesters holding signs.

Event organizers and activists say they want Minnesota to end federal immigration enforcement for good.
