January 1, Michigan Republicans Warn of “Civil War” at Pool Party

Published

on

At an Oakland County pool party fundraiser earlier this August, Michigan State Rep. Matt Maddock delivered a strong message, suggesting that if conservatives continue to feel targeted by the government, tensions could escalate drastically.

Maddock’s concerns arise amid a contentious political backdrop.

His wife, Meshawn Maddock, formerly a co-chair of the Michigan Republican Party, was one of 16 individuals identified as “fake electors.”

These electors now face criminal charges, which were instituted by the state attorney general Dana Nessel in July.

According to an audio recording of the event obtained by The Messenger, Maddock stated:

“If the government continues to weaponize these departments against conservatives…Someone’s going to get so pissed off, they’re going to shoot someone. That’s what’s going to happen. Or we’re going to have a civil war or some sort of revolution.”

These comments come in the wake of former President Donald Trump’s indictment by the Department of Justice regarding his actions surrounding the January 6 events at the U.S. Capitol.

The Oakland County event, themed “Free The 16 Electors Poolside Party!”, was designed to support the legal defense funds of the aforementioned 16 Michigan electors.

Several attendees, including Amy Facchinello, another of the so-called “fake electors,” expressed their gratitude for the widespread support they were receiving from the attendees.

Facchinello commented on the difficulties they’ve faced, stating, “It’s been very difficult, as you can imagine.”

The spotlight wasn’t only on Maddock.

State Rep. James DeSana also took the opportunity to address his intentions to push for Nessel’s impeachment due to what he described as “election corruption and the pursuit of valid electors.”

In defense of his statements at the fundraiser, Maddock later emphasized the importance of free speech.

“In the privacy of my own home, I exercised my right to free speech when I expressed concern about how people’s frustration over an overreaching government worries me,” he said.

This issue roots back to the 2020 election, during which 16 Michigan Republicans acted as alternate electors, endorsing certificates that indicated Trump’s victory in Michigan.

While similar events transpired in other states, Michigan’s slate of alternate electors is the first group to face criminal consequences for their actions.

The proceedings against the alternate electors have led to significant outrage among Michigan Republicans, with many rallying against Nessel.

Maddock himself likened the charges to attempts at “dismantling the Trump campaign, one person at a time.”

Bottom Line

Tensions in Michigan politics are not new.

Past events, including an alleged plot to kidnap Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer and the broader national discourse, have only amplified the political divisions in the state.

America is in the grip of full blown fascism fully on display for anyone with a brain to see. At this point only total civil rebellion can save this nation, and given the lackadaisical mindset of the average American, that isn’t likely.

American patriots are being threatened and pushed around by the corrupt Communist democrat machine mirroring Germany in the early 1930s and the Nazi persecution of the Jews! Same crap…different machine.

The forces that we ( freedom loving patriots ) are up against in this fight are more than just a political party, they have become a ‘bureaucratic deep state’ that lusts for power and will crush any opposition.
Our fight for liberty, freedom and free speech is now a fight for our very future . It is good vs evil, and Gretchen Whitmer, Dana Nessel and Jocelyn Benson are the forces of evil.
God bless warriors and patriots like Matt & Meshawn Maddock who are on the front lines of this fight!!

People is the South are glad you can see what we have known for 160 years. America was made up of “free & sovereign states that “chose” to join the union. When things went bad (like today) WE should have the right to separate, from the abuses (like today). The oligarchy, born on Nov.22 1963, needs to be destroyed, or RED states need to separate from Amerika

IT’S ALL ABOUT CONTROL!! Get your opponents silenced and threaten so you can walk all over them with impunity! And how do you do that?! You weaponize the FBI, DOJ, etc., to do your bidding! Just like what they’re doing to Trump and the Jan.6th group, parents vs. school districts, etc.! Obamie got it started when he purged the Pentagon, FBI, DOJ, etc. when he was in office! He had 8 years to get it done! Then you have the Computer voting machines that can be reprogrammed with any USB-ported machine! Just takes a Thumbdrive popped into the unit and you have it change votes, or not count certain votes. Very simple to do! If they are wired into a central processing system with a modem, then just about anyone can hack in to the computers!

This is an affronted to the American institution of freedom The commentor was right. Somebody is gonna get plugged over this. Peoples nerves are frayed. Their patients is being taxed to the limit. The thread is taught to the snapping point. Many are at their wits end. Which nudge will push us over the edge? Heaven help us when it happens. The people are holding court in the streets. Take a look around. More and more atrocities are occuring when the people are being bullied by the law we entrusted to be fair and honest. Out the window! Tick tock is it gonna stop! Not with our current administration.

The Getchen Witmer kidnapping was proven to be a plot perpetrated by the FBI. That is just how bad it has gotten in our nation and how much it has been taken over. However, having said that, whatever you do, do not get violent. That is exactly what the left is trying to do, create a civil war. Do not allow them to provoke you into it. If you do allow them to provoke you into it, they will have a much better chance of winning. Besides, if you wait until after the election in 2024 and Trump is not victorious, you can always go to having a war after it. But do not do it now.

If you look back through history of Democrat Presidents, the first thing you will notice is they have all been frauds, liars and just white collar criminals. They stay in power by using your tax dollars to buy votes. The federal government has been corrupted to the point it only functions at their whim. The Democrats have infiltrated the Republicans so badly a two party system doesn’t really exist anymore. The self appointed elites ( Democrats) are marching us into the new world order. 2020 was nothing less than a bloodless coup orchestrated by the deep state.
