Sometimes powerful voices say wild things, and the media sweeps it under the rug if it fits their side. If the shoe was on the other foot, they’d make a huge fuss.

The press should call out hateful talk no matter who says it, but too often, their silence speaks volumes. Ordinary people know the rules change when politics are involved.

It’s clear some stories get buried to protect their favorite groups, while regular Americans are left shaking their heads and wanting fair treatment for all.
