January 1, Mass Migration Risks Western Civilization’s Future

Wyatt’s Take

  • Mass immigration without assimilation leads to violence and instability.
  • Western leaders respond with more restrictions on native citizens, not migrants.
  • Calls for assimilation are demonized while risks mount for everyday people.

Western countries have welcomed migrants from troubled regions but failed to demand cultural assimilation. The tragic attack at Bondi Beach in Australia is another sign that these policies have real consequences, including rising violence.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese acknowledged the Islamist motive behind the attack that left at least fifteen people dead. Yet instead of rethinking immigration laws, Australian leaders are focusing on stricter gun controls that further limit their people’s ability to defend themselves.

The problem isn’t unique to Australia. Cities in France are scrapping events over security fears, and in the UK, leaders target citizens’ speech instead of fixing broken migration systems. Efforts to warn about these dangers are often attacked as “racism” or “xenophobia,” as seen when Senator Schumer slammed Senator Tuberville for questioning radical Islamists’ willingness to assimilate.

Immigrants moving to the West face no expectation to adopt Western norms, yet any demand for assimilation is met with scorn. Advocates once claimed, “Diversity is our strength.” Now, that same obsession is costing innocent lives.

No one suggests every migrant shares blame, but it’s clear policies that downplay the need to assimilate threaten peace and stability. Western nations face a choice: demand real assimilation, or continue down a path of self-destruction.

Leaders talk tough, but their actions signal they’d rather double down than face the truth.

Folks in Middle America know you can’t build a strong home without shared values. When leaders put diversity above safety and tradition, regular people pay the price. It’s time for policies that protect families and communities, not political careers.
