Sen. Roger Marshall from Kansas is demanding answers about allegations that Sen. Adam Schiff approved leaking secrets to hurt President Trump back in 2017.
An intelligence officer, who worked for Democrats, warned the FBI several times that Schiff allowed classified information to be leaked to damage Trump over claims about Russia that turned out to be false.
According to an FBI interview, the staffer believed this leaking was “unethical,” “illegal,” and “treasonous,” but said Schiff felt protected by the Constitution’s speech and debate rules.
Marshall said, “It sounds like we have one whistleblower. I think we need to have more people come forward. Let’s investigate this fully.”
He wants the process to be open and for more whistleblowers to tell what they know.
Accountability is the only way to restore trust for regular Americans.
