Liberals Spread Bogus Rumors About Lauren Boebert

The political action committee American Muckrakers PAC published baseless allegations against Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO), claiming that she previously worked as an escort and had multiple abortions. Despite a distinct lack of evidence, Democrats seized the opportunity to spread the rumors.
“On Tuesday, American Muckrakers PAC, co-founded by Democrat and former North Carolina state Senate candidate David Wheeler, published allegations claiming that Boebert had previously worked as an escort on a sugar-daddy website and underwent at least two abortions, one of which was related to her supposed sugar-baby work,” The Daily Beast reported.
The allegations against Boebert quickly circulated in anti-Trump online communities, with users eager to point out the anti-abortion conservative’s supposed hypocrisy. While the popular liberal Twitter account Occupy Democrats acknowledged that the “facts are still unconfirmed,” it still encouraged its 374,000 followers to retweet the baseless claims “IF YOU THINK THAT IT SOUNDS TRUE!”
The Daily Beast noted that the allegations were also circulated by other prominent liberal pundits, including Kentucky Senate candidate Charles Booker, former House candidate Nina Turner, and former House candidate Brianna Wu.
A senior Boebert staffer said the lawmaker is consulting with her lawyers about potential litigation. Boebert also addressed the allegations on Twitter, giving them “four Pinocchios.”
