January 1, Leftists Criticized for Mask Double Standard on Cuba Trip

Wyatt’s Take

  • Radical influencers are lecturing the public about using face masks while traveling to communist nations.
  • Critics argue that these permanent mandates are less about health and more about controlling others through moral busybodying.
  • Leftist activists often restrict public feedback because they know their extreme views do not align with middle America.

Far-left media personalities are still obsessed with masks and mandates years after most Americans moved on with their lives. These elites seem more interested in scolding hard-working citizens than acknowledging the reality of a free country.

Social media went into a frenzy after former Washington Post reporter Taylor Lorenz demanded that travelers continue masking to avoid being labeled as lackeys for the right wing. She claimed that refusing to mask is a failure of solidarity with the vulnerable, even as she traveled abroad.

If we had to live by these rigid rules, no one would be able to go outside or pursue an honest day of work ever again. The obsession with mask-wearing has clearly shifted from a temporary safety measure to a permanent political badge for the coastal elite.

“If you’re traveling to Cuba or any impoverished community, or just generally, you should be wearing a mask.”

These elites aren’t just pushing masks; they are also visiting Cuba to support a regime that stands against every value we hold dear in the heartland. While they stay in five-star hotels, they lecture the rest of us on how to live our lives and what to put on our faces.

The American people are tired of being treated like children by people who haven’t stepped foot in a factory or on a farm in years. We value our freedom and our common sense over the latest social media scolding from a journalist in a bubble.

Wyatt Matters

Middle America values personal responsibility and the freedom to make our own choices for our families. We do not need coastal elites who vacation in communist Cuba telling us how to be neighborly or how to manage our own health.

Rosenau’s studies produced no useful results of any kind.
He obtained no “Findings”–Null and Void and Useless.
None of the Navy volunteers developed disease; so, there was nothing of any use from these small studies. One test exposed 100 Navy volunteers to Pfeiffer bacillus. None developed disease. The form and timing of these exposures were not described in the report I read. Clearly the exposure was inadequate. Also, Influenza is a viral disease –not a bacterial disease transmitted by a bacillus. His other attempts did include influenza–exposing groups of navy recruits to groups of 10 influenza patients. However, the degree and form and duration of the exposures were not described.

Obviously, there have been thousands if not more subsequent studies that have demonstrated infections transferred from one patient to another.
So, the problem was obviously Rosenau and his study designs.

These studies appear to have been very poorly done, because influenza is usually extremely contagious.
