January 1, Judge Blocks Rule Cutting Planned Parenthood Funding

Hey there, folks. Here’s what’s going on: on Monday, a judge decided to block a rule that would have stopped giving taxpayer money to Planned Parenthood for a year.
This judge, Indira Talwani, was picked by Obama. She told the government they can’t stop sending Medicaid money to Planned Parenthood right now. The judge’s order lasts just two weeks for now, so the fight isn’t over yet.
Planned Parenthood’s been in the spotlight because they do a lot of abortions. Last year, they did over 390,000, and that’s more than before. Ever since the big Supreme Court decision last year that overturned Roe v. Wade, places where abortion is still allowed are seeing a lot more people wanting them.
Now, the Supreme Court also said earlier this year that lower courts shouldn’t just stop presidential orders whenever they want. Justice Amy Coney Barrett explained that it’s Congress who gives the courts their power, not the other way around.
Stay tuned and keep thinking about how important it is for us to have a voice in what happens with our laws and our tax dollars.
Wyatt Matters!
The decision made by Judge Indira Talwani to block the rule stopping taxpayer money from going to Planned Parenthood is significant and has people talking. Planned Parenthood is known for providing many abortions, and their numbers have increased since the Supreme Court changed the rules on abortion last year. This change has made some states see more people going to clinics like Planned Parenthood for help.
It’s important to consider how the courts play a role in these decisions. The Supreme Court said that lower courts shouldn’t easily block presidential orders, reminding us that Congress gives the courts their power. This highlights the balance between different branches of government and how decisions are made and challenged.
As citizens, it’s important to stay informed and think about how our laws affect everyone. We should remember that our voices matter, especially when it comes to decisions about where our tax money goes and what laws are made. Keeping an eye on these events helps us understand our role in shaping the future.

I don’t like the whole thought of abortions, but at the same time I know that there are limited situations where it may be Bevin some level. I believe that is a spiritual issue. But, regardless, it not a necessary thing for our government to function and isn’t a function of our government, so I highly disagree that government money should finance it. Everyone knows who and what PP is and does. They provide little other healthcare. Women cannot even get a mammography there and much of what they call women’s healthcare is related to their abortion activities. There are plenty of others to finance that just as there is to fund Public TV. I apprise my money going there as well bc they push political agendas that I do not support. Yes, there is good stuff in there same as with PP, but like the parable of the Wheat and the Tares in the Bible, it’s difficult to separate the two. Wheat is good and tares are poisonous. This is what happens when government get involved in things it wasn’t designed to do. This is the result of socialism being injected in our government. A little lump leavens the whole thing!

It is time to rid our judicial system of these rogue judges that make ruling based on political and person feelings. Theu are to interpret the law as written no matter what their personal agendas are

Michael: Why do you think the government should pay for someone to kill their baby? Why should citizens pay for someone to kill their baby?
