January 1, Joe Rogan Outraged by Left Celebrating Kirk Killing
Wyatt’s Take
- Joe Rogan blasted those who cheered after Charlie Kirk was killed.
- Progressives celebrating the shooting shocked both Rogan and his guest.
- He warned it’s dangerous for society if folks celebrate violence over politics.
Joe Rogan said he was stunned that normal, everyday Americans cheered the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. He and Red Clay Strays singer Brandon Coleman called it “evil” and couldn’t believe that regular people could act that way.
“The Charlie Kirk thing f—— opened up my eyes,” Rogan said on his show. “I never expected so many people would celebrate that man’s murder.”
They talked about how Kirk was just known for debating on college campuses, but it angered people who saw him as stopping progress. Even so, Rogan said, there’s never a reason to applaud killing someone you disagree with.
“I don’t care if he was a bad guy or not,” Coleman said.
“He’s not a bad guy,” Rogan replied.
Rogan pointed out that people who celebrated the killing included “housewives, moms, f—— people working at banks,” and others. He said, “What the f— is wrong with us?” Seeing regular people praise violence was the most disturbing thing about the Kirk case for him.
He believes these reactions are part of why so many are pushing back, recognizing that our society can’t keep going in this direction. Rogan warned that it’s not right to celebrate violence, no matter your political side.
“Most people recognize like, ‘Hey, as a collective, as a society, this is not right.’ Regardless of whoever that person is, whether that person’s on the left or the right, they just got shot in front of the whole world. It’s not a thing to celebrate ever.”
Rogan also called out the hypocrisy of progressives who claim compassion while cheering political violence.
If you care about the direction of our country and the way we treat each other, stories like this ought to make you pay attention.
Wyatt Matters
When common folks celebrate violence because of political differences, it’s a sign that our values are in danger. Respect and decency are what hold together families and communities across Middle America.
