The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 53% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-five percent (45%) disapprove.

The latest figures include 37% who Strongly Approve of the job Trump is doing and 36% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of +1

(The Daily Mail) – Democratic presidential contender Bernie Sanders announced he will release 10 years of his tax returns and revealed he is a millionaire thanks to his best-selling book ‘Our Revolution.’ 
‘I wrote a best-selling book,’ he told The New York Times. ‘If you write a best-selling book, you can be a millionaire, too.’ 

Sanders said he would release his returns by Tax Day on Monday and said he hoped President Donald Trump would do the same.

(WCBS 880) – Mayor Bill de Blasio declared a public health emergency on Tuesday and has ordered mandatory vaccinations for people who may have been exposed to the virus in parts of Williamsburg amid a growing measles outbreak.

Tax Refunds down by $6 billion This Year

(CBS) – Individual tax refunds this year have been only slightly smaller than last year, but those shortfalls are adding up. At the end of last month, the amount of money the government refunded was $6 billion below this time last year, according to IRS figures.

As of March 29, the Treasury had issued 71.8 million refunds. This time a year ago it had issued 73.4 million. So while the average refund, at $2,873, is only $20 less than it was last year, about 1.6 million fewer people are getting refunds, the IRS said.

Alachua County (Florida) sheriff’s deputies said 41-year-old Craig Arttez Brewer, who was killed at about 3 a.m. Sunday, had been paying for others’ food and giving out money to some of the restaurant’s customers shortly before his death.
