January 1, HUD Ends Illegals’ Public Housing Loophole

Wyatt’s Take

  • HUD Secretary Scott Turner targets Clinton-era loophole letting illegals freeload in public housing.
  • New rule demands every resident prove citizenship or eligible status for aid.
  • Taxpayers done funding fraud under Trump leadership.

HUD proposes a rule to stop unqualified folks from using public housing. It kills the “do not contend” trick where mixed families take prorated aid without full checks.

Everyone must verify status now. Illegals out, but refugees and green-card holders can stay if eligible.

The 1980 HUD Act bars aid to ineligibles already. This makes prorated help temporary until proof comes in.

“Under President Trump’s leadership, the days of illegal aliens, ineligibles, and fraudsters gaming the system and riding the coattails of American taxpayers are over,” said Turner.

“HUD’s proposed rule will guarantee that all residents in HUD-funded housing are eligible tenants. We have zero tolerance for pushing aside hardworking U.S. citizens while enabling others to exploit decades-old loopholes.”

Turner slammed past admins for ignoring rules. Liberals let folks sign citizenship claims without proof.

Left critics whine families will lose homes. They push for open aid no matter immigration status.

Time to put American workers first on housing. Support this fix to save your tax dollars.

What if we STRICTLY enforce the laws and rules already on the books concerning illegal bastards in our country.

When is this loophole being closed? What steps are being taken by HUD to find the illegals currently living in HUD housing and what is the expected timeframe to remove them?
