January 1, House Committee Targets Group Aiding Illegals

Wyatt’s Take
- House GOP opens investigation into left-leaning group aiding illegal immigrants.
- Millions in taxpayer dollars reportedly fund legal help for illegals under Biden’s policies.
- Committee Chair Jim Jordan demands answers on federal money spent and missing migrant children.
The House Judiciary Committee is turning the spotlight on a group accused of helping illegal immigrants stay in America, paid for by hardworking taxpayers.
Chairman Jim Jordan is pressing the Acacia Center for Justice to reveal just how much federal money it’s taken in and how it’s being spent to keep illegal aliens from being deported.
Jordan wrote
“The Biden-Harris Administration created an unprecedented border crisis and released millions of illegal aliens into the United States. Once the illegal aliens are inside the country, organizations like the Acacia Center for Justice provide them with social services and legal representation, largely funded by U.S. taxpayers to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars.”
The group has gotten federal funds, especially to represent unaccompanied alien children in immigration matters, including getting them work permits and other benefits.
The Biden administration lost track of about 150,000 of these minors while the money kept flowing to advocacy groups.
The Acacia Center loudly opposes detaining immigrants and pushes to stop using local police to help enforce immigration laws.
It claims the system is set up to exclude people it says are “undeserving” of being part of America.
Reports show the group bragged about being the main contractor for a government program dealing with unaccompanied minors.
It has provided legal advice to people in or out of custody, including those involved in the latest border crisis.
Jordan is pushing for a stack of records, asking about every dollar spent since Biden took office—especially on lobbying Congress and handling cases for programs like Legal Access Services for Reunited Families.
He wants it all turned over by February 13.
As lawmakers keep digging, the American people deserve to know just how much of their paychecks are fueling groups bent on keeping illegal immigrants here for good.
Wyatt Matters
Folks in Middle America work hard and pay their taxes, expecting that money to take care of their own communities. They deserve honesty about how Washington spends their dollars, especially when border security and national priorities are at stake.
