  • Documents tie Gaza aid flotilla to Hamas.
  • Flotilla leaders linked to banned Palestinian group.
  • Israel: Ships owned by Hamas front company.

Newly revealed documents show that activists heading a Gaza aid flotilla, including Greta Thunberg, are tied to Hamas, according to Israeli officials.

Some flotilla leaders organize for a group that Israel labeled a terror group because of its Hamas ties.

Israel says documents from Gaza link flotilla organizers with the Popular Conference for Palestinians Abroad (PCPA), which it claims acts as a Hamas front overseas.

PCPA’s top members have helped organize flotillas like the one led by Thunberg.

Israel says documents prove these leaders work under a civilian disguise while taking their orders from Hamas.

One document names Zaher Birawi as the leader of PCPA’s Hamas branch in the UK and states he organizes these flotillas.

Another links Saif Abu Kashk, a PCPA operator in Spain, to a front company, Cyber Neptune, which coordinates many flotilla boats.

“Thus, these ships are secretly owned by Hamas.”

The Israeli foreign ministry said.

Some flotilla members claim they only aim to provide aid.

Israeli spokesman Oren Marmorstein counters

“They said no. Do you know why? Because they’re not interested in aid — they’re interested in provocation.”
