Wyatt’s Take

  • Republicans are closing in on a deal to reopen Homeland Security after a five-week standoff.
  • The proposal would keep the government moving while preserving key border and immigration funding priorities.
  • A reconciliation bill is also under consideration to push past Democrat obstruction and restore operations.

President Trump met with key senators today to find a path forward that protects our borders while getting the government back to work.

The plan focuses on funding most of the agency while keeping the heat on the radical left’s open-border agenda.

Democrats have spent weeks playing political games at the expense of our safety during a peak hurricane season and global threats.

They think they have leverage by opposing law enforcement, but Middle America knows this is just another anti-Trump tantrum.

Senator Katie Britt told reporters at the White House:

“I’m going to be working through the night, so hopefully we can land this plane.”

This shutdown needs to end so FEMA can respond to severe weather and our borders remain secure against terrorist threats.

The President is showing he is willing to negotiate, but he won’t sacrifice the safety of American families just to appease the elites in D.C.

Wyatt Matters

Working families depend on a secure border and functional emergency services, not the petty power plays of career politicians in Washington. Reopening the government while maintaining ICE funding keeps American communities protected.

Shame on the democrats for their abuse of power. Never could I vote for a person that sits in a job so important to our country and all they want is to get their way. What about the people they are supposed to work for? They don’t care!

If you look at history the democrats gone against our country’s values. They fought a civil war to keep slavery, they dubbed the kkk to hunt down and kill freed slaves, they fought bloody battles in the streets of the south to keep segregation and now they’re fighting like hell to keep illegal shitbags that hate our country in our country and they don’t care if it gets bloody.

We MUST restrict the number of terms a senator and representative can serve. Career politicians who only ever have their own interests at heart are killing America and its values. It is long past due for these bureaucrats to get the boot. Limit terms and let common sense once again rule this nation!!
