Nude LGBTQ activists were photographed riding bicycles during the event in Seattle, Washington, with children clearly present among the audience.
Takei, an open supporter of the LGBTQ movement, sought to defend the activists, stating via Twitter: “Even if there were no naked guys on bikes this year, they would find picture or generate them and push the same agenda anyway. There’s no ‘fixing’ this by calling for self-censoring.”
This tweet was met with a firestorm of criticism, earning more than twice as many comments as likes – an unfavorable scenario colloquially known as “the ratio”.
Several high-profile figures weighed in on the controversy.
Notably, Jordan Peterson questioned the extent of Takei’s defense, saying, “Ask yourself a simple question Mr. Takei. How far are you willing to take this.”
Ben Shapiro, a well-known conservative commentator, sarcastically labelled Takei’s tweet as one of the “great tweets of all time.”
Shapiro went on to paraphrase Takei’s sentiment, stating: “Yes, sure, gay dudes naked on bikes in front of children is happening. But if it weren’t, the Right would just AI it into existence. So we shouldn’t stop doing it.”
In addition to notable figures, numerous other Twitter users expressed their dismay.
Many suggested that Takei’s tweet revealed a lack of basic moral discernment.
One user questioned whether it was too much to ask for Takei to acknowledge that being naked around children was inappropriate.
Another sarcastically praised the actor’s willingness to self-reveal, saying: “Free speech is great because it gets people like Takei to show us who they really are. Don’t self-censor, George. You’re doing great.”

I read the article twice but I don’t think it mentions anywhere that Georgie is a flaming fa got himself so it’s no surprise that he condones bad behavior of the paraders. I’ve worked with several homosexuals and I don’t think any of them would condone bad behavior. But then, Takei is a Hollyweird psycho.

Takei is proof that Hollyweird is screwed up on so many levels starting with a complete lack of morals and right versus wrong. There are quite a few G&L I know that do not condone this behavior or act like this f-g! There are decent G&L that do agree with protecting childrens purity and innocense along with not shoving their lifestyle in people’s faces. Then there are the leftist LGBTQ Fing gutter trash that are so depraved, evil, and disgusting like Takei, Brinton, and most recent the politician that is a tranny arrested for child porn or the sicko adults at pride completely nude while children are around.
As far as I am concerned they should bring back mental asylums or bring back public hangings and more capital punishment!
Do you think or founding fathers would have allowed any of this to go on? Not hardly! Satanists are doing gender affirmations and unbaptisms in Washington. Professors are screwing with students minds giving them depraved ideologies and the garbage just keeps mounting and we need a civil war at this point since police are constrained, GOP doesn’t do anything with these democrats and parents are having to fight to parent their own children.
