January 1, Feds Plan To Regulate Cryptocurrency

The Treasury Department announced that it is planning to regulate cryptocurrency markets and transactions because currently, it’s difficult to detect illegal activity including tax evasion. The Feds will now require any transfer of at least $10,000 be reported to the IRS. The IRS will track you down.

After 11 days of unrest, a truce between Israel and Hamas took hold on Friday. The conflict is considered the worst violence in years. President Joe Biden pledged to salve Gaza Strip while the UN recommends renewed Israeli-Palestinian dialogue. The Gaza truce takes effect after Egyptian mediators broke a deal between Israel and Hamas.

CNN’s Chris Cuomo reportedly advised his brother, New York Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo, on how to respond to sexual harassment allegations. CNN said it had no plans to discipline its top anchor because “Chris has not been involved in CNN’s extensive coverage of the allegations against Governor Cuomo.” For Chris, family first then job second.
