January 1, FBI SEARCHING FOR ‘ARMED AND DANGEROUS’ WOMAN AFTER SCHOOL THREAT

Days before the 20th anniversary of the Columbine High School shooting massacre, that school and dozens of others in Chicago were placed on lockout status as the FBI searched for a woman who they say made a credible threat of violence.

The Denver Post reported that local, state, and federal law enforcement officers and agents are looking for Sol Pais, an 18-year-old who the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said traveled to Colorado Monday night. She subsequently “made threats in the Denver metropolitan area. She is armed and considered to be extremely dangerous,” the office wrote on Facebook.

CNN: Felicity Huffman Facing 10 Months in Prison in College Bribery Scam

“Desperate Housewives” actress Felicity Huffman could serve as many as 10 months in prison for illegally paying thousands of dollars to get her daughter into college.

CNN reported Tuesday that prosecutors will seek a sentence of anywhere from four to 10 months in the wake of Huffman’s guilty plea. She is accused of paying a fake charity $15,000 to help her daughter cheat on the SATs. Huffman’s daughter was unaware of the scam, which involved paying off a test site administrator to give the teenager additional time to do her test.

NC ‘Born-Alive’ Abortion Bill Wins Final Passage

(AP) – North Carolina’s legislature gave final passage Tuesday to a bill to require doctors and nurses to care for babies born alive during a failed late-term abortion or face big penalties, a measure opponents deemed legally unnecessary and a threat to abortion providers.

House lawmakers followed a day after Senate counterparts in approving the bill, which would mean prison time and big fines for medical practitioners who don’t give children born despite a botched abortion the same protections as any other newborn.

Cher Calls Trump ‘Ignorant Thug’ After He Agrees With Her

Singer Cher ripped President Donald Trump as an “ignorant thug” with a “lizard brain” in response to his admission that he agreed with her on an immigration-related issue.

The saga began Sunday when Cher posted this on Twitter:

Cher, who has spoken out against Trump in the past, reacted with a series of follow-up tweets posted Tuesday:
