January 1, FBI Recovers Images Of Armed Intruder Near Guthrie

• FBI released new pictures showing a masked, armed man outside Nancy Guthrie’s home.
• Investigators worked for over a week to recover these images from damaged or removed cameras.
• Law enforcement is urging the public for tips about Guthrie’s disappearance.

On Tuesday, the FBI shared pictures of a man with a gun and his face covered, taken outside Nancy Guthrie’s home. Guthrie was taken from her house outside Tucson, Arizona, early on February 1.

The FBI and local law enforcement teams spent more than a week working with private experts to get back footage that had been lost, damaged, or erased.

“Over the last eight days, the FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department have been working closely with our private sector partners to continue to recover any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home that may have been lost, corrupted, or inaccessible due to a variety of factors – including the removal of recording devices. The video was recovered from residual data located in backend systems.”

The post revealed,

“…as of this morning, law enforcement has uncovered these previously inaccessible new images showing an armed individual appearing to have tampered with the camera at Nancy Guthrie’s front door the morning of her disappearance.”

New video from the same camera shows an armed intruder moving toward Guthrie’s door right before she vanished. Officers are asking anyone with information to call 1-800-CALL-FBI or go online.
