A new fantasy series rooted in Christian values is coming exclusively to DailyWire+ this January. “The Pendragon Cycle: Rise of the Merlin” promises adventure, faith, and the kind of storytelling missing from Hollywood.

The show is based on Stephen R. Lawhead’s novels and dives into the struggles of faith and the birth of Western civilization after the Romans leave Britain. Producer Jeremy Boreing said,

“What is it to be a man? To have a mission? To believe in God and in Christ in a world not receptive to that? If God is real, He must be God of now and of then.”

Set in the days after Rome’s fall, the series follows Merlin’s journey. He’s a prophetic figure in a dark, dangerous world, caught in spiritual and political battles that will shape the future. Only those standing strong in their beliefs have a chance when chaos reigns.

Filmed across striking landscapes in Hungary and Italy, the production stands out for epic battles, authentic costumes, and a focus on real challenges behind the scenes. The cast brings life to well-loved characters – Tom Sharp stars as Merlin, with Rose Reid, James Arden, Finney Cassidy, and Brett Cooper joining in.

DailyWire+ is offering an early gift for All Access members: the first two episodes drop Christmas Day before the official January premiere. The network’s CEO Caleb Robinson calls the series a milestone, saying,

“We believe our audience deserves stories told with this level of craft and conviction, and we’re thrilled to finally share it with them.”
