Wyatt’s Take

  • Don Lemon live streamed activists barging into a Minnesota church, disrupting worshippers.
  • Lemon defended the stunt as ‘journalism’ but faced backlash for backing intimidation.
  • The episode is another example of left-wing media acting like activists instead of reporters.

Don Lemon and far-left activists stormed a church in St. Paul, Minnesota, while Lemon recorded the disruption live. Services were interrupted as protesters chanted “ICE out,” with worshippers forced to witness what Lemon called “Operation Pull-Up.”

Lemon previewed the event on his livestream, describing the action as a “surprise operation” planned by activists including Nekima Armstrong and Daunte Wright. He told viewers, “These are resistance protesters; they’re planning an operation that we’re going to follow them on.”

Inside the church, Lemon told his audience, “the freedom to protest” is protected by the First Amendment. He argued with the pastor, insisting the disruption was free speech, even as churchgoers’ right to worship was trampled. The pastor eventually had to ask Lemon to leave.

Harmeet Dhillon, Assistant Attorney General, called out Lemon’s claim that “committing journalism” shielded him from responsibility. She suggested Lemon’s involvement could lead to criminal charges.

Lemon has since tried to walk back his involvement, saying, “I had no affiliations with that organization. I didn’t even know they were going to this church until we followed them. We were there chronicling protests.”

He added, “Once the protest started in the church, we did an act of journalism, which was report on it and talk to the people who were involved, which included the pastor, members of the church, and members of the organization. That’s it.”

But live streaming a coordinated act of intimidation is not reporting—it’s activism. Instead of reporting after the fact, Lemon aided and gave legitimacy to a planned disruption.

This behavior fits a larger pattern across corporate media, where so-called journalists promote leftist causes while ignoring uncomfortable facts. Governor Tim Walz’s failures in Minnesota, for example, get positive press, while real scandals get little attention.

Even headlines about ICE incidents or identity theft by illegal immigrants are spun to fit the left’s agenda, while victims are sidelined. Lemon’s actions show how the mainstream press acts less like reporters and more like activists helping a political side.

This wasn’t journalism. It was all about pushing a cause by any means necessary.

Middle Americans believe in faith, fairness, and respect for each other’s rights. When outsiders barge into churches and call it activism, it crosses a line most of us hold dear. Keeping our communities strong means standing against intimidation and protecting the freedom to worship in peace.

Don Lemon has been a lying leftist forever. I, like the rest of normal Americans want to see him brought to justice for all the stirring up he does.

Lemon has crossed the line between journalism and activism and needs to be held accountable for his involvement in disrupting a time of corporate worship.
