Wyatt’s Take

  • Trump’s DOJ is cracking down on voter fraud with a big push to clean up voter rolls across the country.
  • State officials in places like California and Wisconsin are being told to follow the law or risk losing federal money.
  • Leaders say this is about making elections fair and keeping illegal votes out of the system.

Some states, including California, Wisconsin, Utah, and New Hampshire, have gotten official notices from the DOJ. These states were warned that they might be breaking federal laws meant to keep elections honest.

Attorney General Pam Bondi made it clear, saying, “Unlike the previous administration, at President Trumps DOJ, we will fight to have fair and secure elections – and that begins with making our voter rolls accurate.”

Election watchdogs have been sounding alarms for years about non-citizens ending up on voter lists. Texas, for example, just started investigating over 100 people suspected of voting while they shouldn’t have. Their Attorney General is on the case.

Theres more: National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard and FBI Director Kash Patel just declassified proof that the FBI failed to dig deep into possible Chinese meddling in the 2020 election. The documents say China wanted to mess with mail-in ballots to help Joe Biden get elected.

The new DOJ campaign is being led by Harmeet Dhillon, whos in charge of civil rights. She said, “I cant comment on the specifics of any ongoing investigations, but I am committed to making it harder to cheat and easier to vote. Clean voter rolls will help achieve that goal.”

Dhillon has already taken a tough stand in Wisconsin. In June, she told their state elections commission that theyre breaking the law by not having a way for people to complain about voting problems. She said in a letter, “Quite surprisingly, we have learned that the Wisconsin Elections Commission has refused to provide any administrative complaint process or hearing regarding HAVA complaints against the Commission … With no opportunity or means to appeal, complainants are left stranded with their grievances.”

The DOJ has warned Wisconsin to fix things fast or lose their federal election funding.

Meanwhile, Orange County in California got a demand from the DOJ to name any illegal aliens sneaking onto the voter rolls. The county pushed back, and now the DOJ has gone to court to get what they need.

Wyatt Matters

Middle America knows that honest elections make this country strong. Cleaning up our voter rolls should be a no-brainer. Folks who dont live here, or arent citizens, or want to vote more than once just dont belong on the list. Its good to see a Justice Department finally stand up for fairness, law, and the rights of real American voters.
