January 1, DeSantis Blasts Disney’s “Stupid Activism”

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) decried Disney’s “stupid activism” over his state’s Parental Rights in Education Act, which critics dubbed the “Don’t Say Gay” bill.
“What we’ve done, maybe better than any other state in the country, is we have drawn a very clear line in the sand that says our school system is for educating kids, not indoctrinating kids,” DeSantis said during remarks at the Moms for Liberty National Summit.
“We’ve also drawn a clear line in the sand that says parents have a fundamental role in the education of their kids.”
DeSantis said he was a bit surprised by the backlash from the Walt Disney Company following the bill’s enactment. He thought “the left would have their spasm,” but he “honestly didn’t think that companies were going to say anything again.”
“All I’m doing is trying to defend parents,” DeSantis said. “The reality is Americans are sick of some of these companies and their stupid activism.”
The governor continued, saying, “It’s one thing to advance things in the political arena, but when they can’t get things done through the ballot box, they use corporate power to do it and to impose a leftist agenda through corporate America.”
“You’ve got to be concerned about that.”
DeSantis also criticized President Joe Biden for record-breaking inflation and high gas prices.
“When you see Brandon blundering around, bad energy policy you see every time you go fill up gas, and there’s the grocery bills — there’s a lot to be pessimistic about, particularly in terms of Washington, D.C.,” he said, noting that “in the state of Florida … [the] sun is rising.”

A very strong Presidential candidate. Not many willing to take a stand for what’s right. Whatever he may run for, he has my vote.

I for the Life of Me – Can’t Understand How Those Individuals of Disney CAN BE SO STUPID.!!!! That’s the words of a typical REPUBLICAN concerned about Walt Disney’s activism, the Disney corp. (corporation, is that the term that gets under your skirt) Disney was is a corporation that was doing fine way before the B,P,O,Y,R,D,Y,F,L, what was the problem YOU weren’t getting any money from them to stuff your pockets with. You should know well about DUMB PILLS, and DAOA STUPID & TIRED you sound like you take 2 every day like that FRIENDLY MOB that took the (PEACEFUL TOUR OF THE WHITE HOUSE ON JAN.6th) you mean you don’t know how they CAN BE SO STUPID. So J.J, D.G, M.K AND C.G along with STUPID & TIRED stick your empty heads back up CHUMP’S FAT ASS where they were, a GREAT AMERICAN, or a GOOD CANDIDATE (maybe in your blind eyes) who claims to care about the CHILDREN of America running for any office WOULD NOT ALLOW ANYONE to have access to any sort of automatic weapon like the MORONS IN THE REPUBLICAN PARTY do, and if anyone is rolling over in there graves, give some thought to CHILDREN who were KILLED in the last couple of years by the guns REPUBLICANS allow MORONS to purchase.
