DeSantis Administration Launches Investigation into “Explicit” Holiday Event

ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY…
1892: Ellis Island opens as a U.S. immigration inspection station — it would go on to be the gateway to the U.S. for more than 12 million people.

Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) has launched an investigation into a holiday-themed drag show that took place on Dec. 26 in Fort Lauderdale.

Bryan Griffin, a press secretary for Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), circulated a statement from the DBPR announcing the investigation.

The DBPR “is aware of multiple complaints about a sexually explicit performance marketed to children held in Fort Lauderdale on December 26th,” the statement read. “The Department is actively investigating this matter, including video footage and photographs from the event.”

“Exposing children to sexually explicit activity is a crime in Florida, and such action violates the Department’s licensing standards for operating a business and holding a liquor license.”

The DBPR “will share any evidence it collects with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) for potential criminal liability.”

A spokesperson for the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, the venue where the event was held, said that only patrons 18 years and older were admitted to “A Drag Queen Christmas,” unless accompanied by a parent.

The spokesperson said that ticket buyers were emailed a message that disclosed the show’s adult themes and content, a standard for most shows hosted by the Broward Center.

The Stolen Innocents of our Children should be treated as Sexual Abuse. Charged, Tried and Imprisoned!

With any luck they will be able to prosecute and HOPEFULLY slap a registered sex offender charge on some or many. They MUST be made examples of. Parents use your heads and protect your children from this activity. It IS part of the LGBTQ agenda.

  4. Karin Schulz says:

These shows should be boycotted and not aloud !

  5. Diane Leemans Kelley says:

And hopefully, they’ll charge the parents/adults who brought children to this disgraceful exhibition.

  6. Arrest them and put them behind bars.
