  • Democrats told soldiers to question orders, drawing backlash.
  • Treasury Secretary Bessent says this move helps America’s enemies.
  • Bessent is sure every Trump order is legal and wants a retraction.

Democratic lawmakers sent out a video urging military members to think twice about illegal orders. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said this puts troops and America at risk.

Bessent told NBC’s Kristen Welker,

“This is a display of gross negligence here… There is one commander in chief, and when you step outside of a chain of command and try to create via noise and chaos, that only helps our enemies.”

He said he is confident that every order President Trump gives is lawful and called the lawmakers’ message a mistake that should be taken back.

Many soldiers would also be sent to the brig as they should be for disobedience of orders. Next they’ll be telling students not to obey their teachers if they decide to do so. There will be many dropouts at a young age. They’re attempting to destroy our military because they have no control over it. Great shame on these non-veterans that do not understand the system that could only destroy our great country.
