January 1, Dem Shocks Praising Trump Speech

• Texas Democrat loves Trump’s full State of the Union.
• Agrees on economy fixes and America First wins.
• Ashamed Dem leaders snubbed everyday heroes.

A Texas Democrat named Joni Werner wrote an op-ed agreeing with nearly everything in President Trump’s 2026 State of the Union address.

She called it the best speech she’d heard and said it fired her up to vote.

I watched President Donald Trump’s entire 2026 State of the Union speech. And I loved it! Watching it made me more likely to vote in the midterm elections.

This was the first time I wasn’t bored and actually agreed with everything he had to say. I appreciate his businessman’s approach to the economy and tariffs. I loved that he celebrated the people directly affected by his policy changes and celebrated the economy wins by putting America first.

Werner slammed leaders who wouldn’t cheer folks hurt by past bad policies.

I am disappointed in all the elected leaders who refused to celebrate the people who have been sacrificed because of the policies brought about by the Biden administration.

She believes Trump puts America first and wants Democrats to give him a fair shot like they did before.

I am actually a registered Democrat, and I was ashamed of how congressional Democrats were acting at the State of the Union ‒ not giving Trump the common courtesy and respect the office of the president deserves.

Folks in the heartland, this shows regular people see Trump’s plan works for jobs and families. Time to back leaders who put us first.
