  • Russian court slams 19 with convictions for deadly 2024 concert attack killing 149.
  • Tajik gunmen and accomplices draw life terms or decades behind bars.
  • ISIS owned the carnage but Kremlin fingers Ukraine while ignoring warnings.

A Russian court convicted 19 people Thursday for the Crocus City Hall attack. It left 149 dead and hundreds hurt.

Four Tajik nationals were the gunmen with 11 accomplices. Fifteen got life sentences served in harsh colonies, others 19 to 22 years.

Attackers shot concertgoers then torched the venue. Worst terror hit in Russia in 20 years.

Trial began behind closed doors in August 2025. It covered car sellers, a landlord and terror-linked suspects.

A regional ISIS faction claimed responsibility.

“This inhuman crime was planned and carried out in the interests of the current leadership of Ukraine in order to destabilize the political situation in our country,” said Russia’s Investigative Committee.

“Contrary to public statements by President Putin and others who have sought to shift blame onto Ukraine, the United States, the United Kingdom, and any other entity that suits the Kremlin’s political narratives, it is abundantly clear that ISIS-K was solely responsible for the horrific terrorist attack in Moscow on the 22nd,” said Katherine Brucker, U.S. Chargé d’Affaires.

The U.S. had warned Russia of threats to big gatherings like concerts.

International groups decried the trial over torture claims and beaten defendants.

Folks, jihadists strike anywhere—let’s secure our borders and towns from this evil.

Torture claims and beaten defendants – probably deters similar crimes more than just free room and board for calculating murderers (and the wrongfully convicted alike) in irresponsible, bribe-centered American courts.
