January 1, DC Mayor Again Begs National Guard to Help with Migrant Crisis

Washington, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser has renewed her request for the National Guard to help the city deal with an influx of migrants.
The Pentagon denied Bowser’s initial request, but she penned a formal letter to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin renewing her call for help.
Bowser asked Austin “to deploy the DC National Guard (DCNG) to help prevent a prolonged humanitarian crisis in our nation’s capital resulting from the daily arrival of migrants in need of assistance.”
“We need help from our federal partners as we seek to stabilize and manage our operating environment in this critical moment,” Bowser wrote.
The mayor also requested that migrants receive the same privileges and assistance as war refugees.
“We, likewise, encourage the federal government, as I have expressed to White House officials, to help asylum seekers in ways similar to systems set up for Afghan and Ukrainian refugees,” she wrote.

Mayor Bow-wow conveniently forgets that the majority of illegals coming to her city were brought there by Biden, not by Abbott.

Is it not funny that the woke left want to allow any and all illegals, including criminals and drug dealers to flow into our country to prey upon American citizens, yet, they do not want to have to deal with them themselves? They want to send them elsewhere and turn their heads away and pretend that it is not a problem, yet when they are sent to THEIR cities, they start to whine and beg for the help that the southern border states, who have been overrun, thanks to Biden’s open border policy, get nothing.. I say that if they want them so badly, then send them all to the blue states and let them deal with them!
