DA is not ruling out criminal charges in Alec Baldwin’s fatal shooting on movie set
Santa Fe County District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies is not ruling out criminal charges in the fatal shooting on a film set last week when Alec Baldwin shot and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchinson with a prop gun.
“We have not ruled out anything. Everything at this point, including criminal charges, is on the table,” Carmack-Altwies told The New York Times.
Investigators found three revolvers, spent casing and ammunition in boxes and a fanny pack on the set. The district attorney also told the outlet that she took exception to the term “prop gun.”
“It was a legit gun,” Carmack-Altwies said. “It was an antique-era appropriate gun.”
