Wyatt’s Take

  • Charlie Kirk was murdered while sharing traditional American values on a Utah college campus.
  • Left-wing figures openly applauded his death instead of condemning it.
  • This moment shows ordinary beliefs are under attack, and silence is no safety.

Charlie Kirk was killed Wednesday while speaking at a Utah college. His message was simple—faith, family, and patriotism—yet it cost him his life.

This attack was not for some wild view, but for ideas ordinary folks believe in every day. People across the country now wonder if merely holding these values could put them at risk.

Some on the left wasted no time justifying Kirk’s death. The message seemed clear—it’s open season if you hold conservative beliefs.

Heather Harvey, a congressional staffer, wrote Kirk is a “casualty of the violence he incited.”

Faculty in Tennessee were suspended for saying, “you reap what you sow” and claiming, “This isn’t a tragedy. It’s a victory.”

One California teacher allegedly posted, “Far right assholes have a target on their backs, and deserve to die. One down, millions to go.”

A nurse in Atlanta lost her job after reportedly saying, “F-ck his kids. F-ck his ancestors, especially the b-tch who birthed him.”

The shocking part is these aren’t fringe activists—they’re teachers, nurses, university staff, and even lawmakers’ aides.

People trusted with guiding children and caring for others showed open hatred and cheered for the murder of a father for his beliefs.

Kirk’s death warns every American that staying silent won’t keep us safe. If speaking your mind about faith and country is enough to be targeted, keeping quiet won’t protect you.

Now is the time to stand up together. If we shrink away, those celebrating this violence will only be emboldened, and any of us could be next.

We can’t trade our values for silence. Speaking the truth, loving our country, and defending basic beliefs matter now more than ever.

Wyatt Matters
