Police say the man thought to be responsible for the deadly Brown University shooting has been found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Officers found his body as they prepared to check a storage unit in New Hampshire linked to the suspect.
Last Saturday, two students were killed and nine more hurt during the attack at the Ivy League school. Providence Police Chief Oscar Perez identified the suspect as Claudio Manuel Nueves Valente, a 48-year-old Brown student from Portugal, last living in Miami, Florida.
Authorities plan to share more about this case soon as new details come forward.
