The Department of Justice (DOJ) has confirmed that the laptop tied to Hunter Biden was indeed his, and that the Justice Department knew about it all along. New York Post reporter Miranda Devine, who has been covering the Hunter Biden story from the beginning, shared new details in a thread on X. She revealed that the Bidens and the Justice Department were fully aware that the laptop belonged to Hunter, and they were even able to match the contents found on the laptop to content stored on his iCloud account.

“In a new court filing today, the DOJ confirms Hunter Biden’s laptop is real, that he left it at a computer store, and that the contents matched what they obtained from a search warrant of his iCloud. Don’t hold your breath for a retraction from Joe Biden (‘It’s a Russian plant’), the #Dirty51 or myriad dishonest media operatives. They blamed Russia when the Bidens knew it was Hunter – and so did the FBI. Hunter also blamed Russia when he was caught using adultery site Ashley Madison,” Devine posted in her thread.

Special counsel David Weiss’ prosecutor Leo Wise has been busy with multiple filings, including new evidence about Hunter Biden’s allegedly illegal gun purchase while addicted to crack cocaine. This comes after his sweetheart plea deal in Delaware fell apart.

The most recent filings also provided additional information about Hunter Biden’s allegedly illegal firearm and the federal form he had allegedly filled out dishonestly to obtain it. Among the evidence was a text message allegedly sent by Hunter Biden within 48 hours of purchasing the firearm, in which he stated that he was “meeting a drug dealer,” “smoking crack,” and sleeping in a car.

The DOJ presented further evidence that Hunter Biden was a cocaine user when he bought the gun: “To be clear, investigators literally found drugs on the pouch where the defendant had kept his gun.” The filing also stated that cocaine had been found “on the pouch” in which the younger Biden had stored the gun in question, suggesting that he had the gun and the drugs in close proximity and at the same time.

Devine concluded her thread by acknowledging the two IRS whistleblowers, Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler, who brought the story into public view. She noted that they remain employed by the IRS, where they are currently being retaliated against.
