January 1, BOMBSHELL: LA Mayoral Candidate Threatens to Release Recording That Will Force Resignation

Wyatt’s Take
- Conservative LA mayoral hopeful drops bombshell claim about possessing damaging recordings of Democrat officials
- Threatens either current mayor or city councilwoman will resign in shame once tape goes public
- Latest twist in City of Angels chaos following catastrophic wildfire mismanagement
A conservative Los Angeles mayoral candidate just turned up the heat on the Democrat establishment running America’s second-largest city into the ground. Former reality TV star Spencer Pratt announced Friday he’s sitting on recordings that could end political careers.
Pratt claims he has evidence that will force either current Mayor Karen Bass or City Councilwoman Nithya Raman to “resign in shame.” The recordings allegedly capture one of these Democrat officials “doing and saying something” so damaging that their political survival is impossible.

This explosive allegation comes as Los Angeles reels from devastating wildfires that exposed catastrophic failures in Democrat leadership. Residents watched their homes burn while Bass was overseas and city officials scrambled to explain empty water reservoirs and defunded fire departments.
Pratt hasn’t released the recordings yet, but the threat alone has sent ripples through LA’s political establishment. The conservative candidate is positioning himself as the anti-corruption alternative to the same Democrat machine that let the city burn.
Bass has faced mounting criticism for her absence during the crisis and her administration’s failure to maintain basic infrastructure. Raman, representing one of LA’s most liberal districts, has been a vocal supporter of defunding police and other far-left policies that critics say have turned the city into an urban disaster zone.
Whether Pratt actually has the goods remains to be seen. But in a city where trust in Democrat leadership has cratered, residents are paying attention. After years of rising crime, homelessness, and now fire disasters, working-class Angelenos are desperate for accountability.
The conservative challenger’s bombshell claim fits a pattern of corruption scandals plaguing Democrat-run California cities. From bribery schemes to misused funds, the Golden State’s political class has given voters plenty of reasons to demand transparency.
Why It Matters
When your city’s burning and the people in charge are hiding secrets, Americans deserve answers. LA families lost everything while politicians played games. If there’s evidence of wrongdoing, it needs to see the light of day so voters can make informed choices about who runs their communities.
