Wyatt’s Take

  • Bernie Sanders signals backing for AOC in the 2028 presidential race.
  • Democrats keep drifting further left, embracing extreme candidates.
  • The American heartland isn’t on board with their radical plans.

Bernie Sanders openly praised AOC, calling her smart and genuine, and hinting at support for her possible 2028 run.

He stressed her working-class roots, saying

“She is an incredibly intelligent person and in the best sense of the word, a very, very good politician.”

Sanders now has real power in the party, and he’s not afraid to push far-left allies like Graham Platner in Maine’s Senate race.

Platner, once a self-described “communist,” has ties to radical groups and forums.

“Check out the Maine SRA chapter, we’re quite active.”

These groups boast armed training and connections to acts the government now classifies as terrorist violence. The DOJ charged individuals from the same network with aiding attacks against law enforcement, finally using terrorism statutes against domestic left-wing extremists.

Platner’s elite background and his image as a man-of-the-people highlight the party’s odd choices. The Democrats are taking dangerous bets with candidates tied to hard-left causes.

Middle America shouldn’t ignore the real threat: the country could suffer deeply if these radicals seize control.

Even moderates like Biden don’t pose as great a risk as the new breed of socialist leaders Sanders supports. The chance of them winning the presidency might be low, but the damage would be huge if it happens.

This isn’t the direction everyday Americans want. We need common sense, not more chaos from the coastal left.

Wyatt Matters

Heartland voters know the dangers of letting far-left ideas go unchecked. Everyday folks want leaders with integrity, not radicals chasing headlines, and it’s time for real representation that puts America’s working families first.
