Trump, as usual, didn’t hold back and reminded everyone just how critical the U.S. has been in international conflicts. “I’m starting to doubt that Ukraine will make a deal with Putin, who’s too busy celebrating the Victory of World War II, which could not have been won (not even close!) without the United States of America. HAVE THE MEETING, NOW!!!” he insisted.

Shortly after, Zelensky announced he’s willing to go forward, saying he’s ready to sit down with Putin in Turkey this Thursday. Zelensky also called for a real ceasefire to pave the way for these discussions, adding, “There is no point in prolonging the killings.”
