January 1, Hidden Health Benefits of Raw Milk: Government Isn’t Telling You the Whole Story

“When you look at all the data, and you look at what is a health-supporting decision to make, I think raw milk comes out on top,” Bass told a news outlet.

Bass, a mother of eight with a popular YouTube channel “Farmhouse on Boone,” is part of a growing movement embracing the benefits of raw dairy.

“It’s close to a perfect food. It’s whole and good,” Bass said.

Sadly, the federal government and dairy lobbyists warn that raw milk is dangerous and can lead to severe illness or death.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention even describe raw milk as “one of the riskiest foods.”

However, government, dairy lobby, and “experts” are not telling the full story. They claim raw milk is always unsafe to consume.

But Dr. Paul Saladino, MD, a health influencer, thinks raw milk is a superfood. He believes it improves gut health, allergies, and immune function.

“Raw milk contains many naturally occurring bioactive components that are beneficial and protective,” Saladino explained.

The problem with pasteurization is that it kills both the “bad” and the “good” components of raw dairy.

According to Saladino, advances in sanitation, technology, and understanding of human health now render raw milk “inherently safe” for all humans.

Owner of Raw Farms USA, Mark McAfee, agrees.

His family-owned farm abides by “extremely strict standards” that surpass the standards of pasteurized dairy.

There’s risk with consuming both raw and pasteurized dairy, but the government only emphasizes the risk of raw dairy.

It’s important to remember that most dairy farms have no incentives to produce raw milk for human consumption. They’re paid by the weight of the milk, not the bacterial standards.

Bass encourages people to research and become advocates for themselves and their families.

“When you take a look at the actual numbers and you look at the actual studies, you’ll find that a lot of times the narrative can be questioned,” Bass said. “I encourage people to be that advocate for themselves.”

According to Saladino, raw milk is not only beneficial for your health and ancestrally consistent, but it’s also delicious.

My boys have been drinking raw milk all their lives. One is 6’4 at 17 and 6′ at 13. Never had a problem.

I grew up on a small, family-owned dairy farm. We certainly didn’t drive to town to buy milk. One of us brought a pail of that “dangerous stuff” into the house every morning after milking, we scammed off the cream, and sat down to breakfast. So far, no ill effects. Maybe there will be down the road but I doubt it since I am already almost 76 years old.

I drank raw milk from a local dairy as a kid through high school. I was seldom sick and never missed school. And, I never took any vaccines except small pox and polio. Knowing what I know now, I would not have taken those either.
And, when we visited my grandmother, she always gave us fresh milk and butter from her own cow, and meat and eggs from her own chickens. She managed her little farm by herself until she was about 68. She was seldom sick and lived to 94.

I was raised on whole, unpasteurized, raw milk. So were my parents and grandparents. We also had our own raised beef, chickens, and chicken eggs straight from the hen! Sometimes mom mixed the cream, other times she skimmed it and used it for something else. I will be 69 and none of my health issues are related to drinking raw milk. We have a raw milk dairy in this area. The milk is more expensive primarily because of the stringent guidelines they have to follow. Not surprising we’re not told the truth by the government. Look at the lobbyists and officials in the lobbyists’ pockets that would like to put the small dairies/businesses out of business. CDC has lost all credibility, thanks to the debacle of COVID and their continuing cover up.
