January 1, Newsmax Ends Segment as Uninvited Guest Takes The Spotlight

Published

on

Newsmax experienced an unexpected interruption Monday night when a man in a wife beater shirt and boxers crashed a live shot during a discussion about the consequential Iowa Caucus, marking the beginning of the 2024 Republican presidential primary.

Show host and author Dick Morris was on Rob Schmitt’s program, talking about former President Donald Trump’s upcoming victory when the unknown man walked into the room and past the guest on air.

In response, the network quickly cut to a shot of Trump greeting supporters and giving a speech at a campaign event.

Unfazed, Morris continued to discuss the “huge victory” for Trump, arguing that the race is a “knockout punch” for the other candidates.

He predicted that Trump is likely to win the Jan. 23 New Hampshire primary and defeat Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley in her home state of South Carolina.

Morris stated, “I believe this is gonna be a very short presidential race. I think this may be a knockout punch. I think that after this primary, New Hampshire is going to be heavily for Trump. Nevada always was. South Carolina will be, which I think will be a fatal blow to Nikki Haley because she’s from there. And then you have March 5 when 45% of America votes. And I think this will be over faster than a Mike Tyson fight.”

In Iowa, Trump secured a historic victory with 51% of the vote, followed by Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis at 21.2% and Haley with 19.1%. After the caucus results, two other contenders, Vivek Ramaswamy and Asa Hutchinson, dropped out of the race.

Why It Matters (op-ed)

Newsmax’s minor on-air hiccup during a discussion on the Iowa Caucus cannot overshadow the real story: the triumphant return of Donald Trump. As Dick Morris rightly points out, Trump’s victory is a knockout punch to his opponents, signaling his dominance in the Republican party.

With Trump garnering 51% of the vote in Iowa, it’s clear that the American people still stand firmly behind him. As we head into the New Hampshire primary, we can expect another victory for our former president, further cementing his position as the rightful leader of the conservative movement.

the reason that “good” gov’t. is to separate the insane from the law abiding taxpayers (safety). SO we don’t have to use the/our 2nd amend. to put them down. Less messy.

That man appearing in a t shirt and shorts behind Dick Morris works with him on productions and setups. He opened the door, saw Morris broadcasting, and decided it was better to walk on through rather than hurriedly closing the door since he knew he was on camera. The man, sorry didn’t record his name appeared on the Gutfeld Show a few nights later and explained it all, and as a guest he was hilarious, came off really well and I wouldn’t be surprised if he makes another apearance on the show.
