January 1, Foreign Leader Reveals What Trump Plans After Iran Victory

- Washington Agreement revival could bring stability to troubled Kosovo region and cement U.S. influence
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic dropped a major hint about what’s next on President Donald Trump’s foreign policy agenda — and it could reshape an entire region that’s been a powder keg for decades.
In an exclusive interview, Vucic told reporters that finalizing the Washington Agreement between Serbia and Kosovo would be a “big, big, big deal” if Trump turns his attention there after wrapping up his showdown with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The comment reveals Trump’s multipronged approach to restoring American strength abroad. While the president handles Iran with the firm hand that’s been missing for years, allies around the world are already planning for what comes next — and they want Trump at the negotiating table.
Vucic didn’t stop there. He pointed to growing American investment in Serbia that’s set to outpace even China’s footprint in the region. That’s a direct result of Trump’s America First economic policies proving they work not just at home, but as a tool for expanding U.S. influence without endless wars or nation-building disasters.
The Washington Agreement, originally brokered during Trump’s first term, aimed to normalize economic relations between Serbia and Kosovo — two neighbors with a bloody history of conflict. Getting that deal over the finish line would stabilize the Balkans, reduce European migration pressures, and show the world that Trump’s deal-making reputation isn’t just talk.
China has spent years pouring money into Serbia and other Balkan states, buying influence while America sat on the sidelines under weak leadership. Now, with Trump back in charge, that’s changing fast. American companies are investing, American interests are being protected, and American leadership is welcomed again.
The timing matters. Trump’s confrontation with Iran has the world watching to see if America will finish what it starts. Once that’s handled, regional leaders like Vucic know Trump won’t waste time. He’ll move to the next deal, the next win, the next chapter of making America — and its allies — stronger.
Kosovo has been a thorn in the side of European stability since the 1990s. Endless bureaucratic attempts to solve the problem have failed. But Trump doesn’t do endless bureaucracy. He does results.
For Serbia, closer ties with the United States mean economic growth, security guarantees, and a counterweight to Chinese and Russian influence creeping through Eastern Europe. For America, it means a foothold in a strategic region without deploying troops or writing blank checks.
Wyatt Matters
This is what real leadership looks like on the world stage. Trump isn’t interested in managing problems forever — he solves them, moves on, and racks up wins. While his opponents wasted years letting China buy up influence and letting regional conflicts fester, Trump is showing that American strength, American investment, and American deal-making can change the map without firing a shot. Middle America understands that better than the so-called experts ever will.
