Wyatt’s Take

  • Trump is keeping America safe by letting real talks run before rushing into another Middle East fight.
  • Netanyahu wants the U.S. to hit Iran hard right after the elections, but President Trump is holding his fire.
  • American families are tired of endless wars and want leaders who put our country first.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is urging President Trump to launch strikes on Iran immediately after next week’s midterm elections. Axios reports the request comes while the president is still giving space for talks led by Qatar.

Trump has kept military options open but has not green-lit any action yet. The president wants to see if the current talks can deliver results before committing American forces.

“We are working through the diplomatic channel right now,” a senior U.S. official said. “The president believes we should give the process every chance.”

Netanyahu’s team believes Iran is using the talks to buy time. They want the United States to move quickly once the ballots are counted Tuesday night.

“The window for action is closing,” one Israeli official told Axios. “We need the United States to act right after the elections.”

President Trump has not ruled out strikes. He has simply refused to rush into another costly conflict while real negotiations are still on the table.

Working families across the heartland remember the last twenty years of endless wars that cost lives and trillions of dollars. They want leaders who protect the homeland without dragging us into fights that do not serve American interests.

Middle America wants a foreign policy that puts American workers and American security first, not endless foreign adventures that drain our strength and leave our communities paying the price.
