Wyatt’s Take

  • Homeland Security has now flagged more than 300,000 possible noncitizens on voter rolls, up sharply from 250,000 just a few months ago.
  • Over 1,600 investigations are already underway with the midterms only days away, raising urgent questions about who is actually voting.
  • Working Americans expect clean elections where only citizens decide the future of their communities and their country.

Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin delivered a blunt update on the growing problem of noncitizen voter registrations. The number has jumped from 250,000 in July to more than 300,000 today.

Officials say more than 1,600 separate investigations are now open. These probes come just days before the midterm elections.

“We are committed to protecting the integrity of our elections,” Mullin stated.

The increase shows the scale of the problem is worse than previously reported. State election offices across the country are now being asked to double-check their rolls.

Many voters in the heartland have long worried that lax verification lets people who are not citizens cast ballots. Those fears appear to be backed by the new numbers.

“Every legal vote must count and every illegal vote must be stopped,” Mullin added.

Election integrity remains a kitchen-table issue for working families who want their voices heard without outside interference.

Wyatt Matters

Hard-working Americans believe the right to vote belongs only to citizens, and any effort to protect that principle is worth the cost.
